My house and studio in Minnesota

I started building five years ago.  It is a work in progress that it looks like will take a while.  It sits on a pond between the Two Inlets  State Forest and the White Earth Indian Reservation.

This was originally built as the studio but was then turned into the house when we had a baby.  There are 10 by 10 foot doors on three sides that were originally intended as work doors, to be able to drive right in.   They let the air flow through in the summer like you are on a porch.   I put an addition on and moved the studio into the addition.   It currently has three bedrooms but will eventually have four, when the small camouflage painted cabin is connected through a screen porch.
